Originally, Dr Gary Nadler was born at the naval base hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Gary’s family, a navy pilot father and his mother, moved to southern California where he spent the next 24 years of his life. From California, he moved to the Northwest, Washington and Oregon, where he lived for several years before entering chiropractic school in Portland, Oregon in 1977. After transferring to Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1978, he completed his course study and graduated Magna Cum Laude in the fall of 1980. From South Carolina, Gary went back to Washington State and began his practice on Whidbey Island in 1981. After 10 years in practice he found Northern Arizona while traveling and later decided to move to the Verde Valley in 1991. He opened his office in Cottonwood, AZ in July 1992 and has been available to the public ever since.
Having studied the Activator Method Technique of chiropractic care, Dr Nadler learned the incredible value of this gentle, low force program and has chosen it as the only form of chiropractic care he provides. His enthusiasm for the Activator Method has led him to earn an advanced proficiency rating in the technique and allows him the honor to serve as an instructor at the annual seminars in Phoenix.
In brief, the Activator Method utilizes a unique system of administering spinal adjustments. The practitioner uses a hand held instrument, known as an Activator, to deliver a controlled, light and very fast thrust to the involved spinal vertebra in order to correct spinal joint dysfunction. This technique is safe for patients of all ages since no forceful pressures are exerted onto the spine.
